Michael McGann, who leads the GAII project, has just published a new article in Public Administration on ‘Contracting personalization by results: comparing marketization reforms in Australia and the UK’.
Written with his colleagues from the Getting Welfare to Work research team, and drawing on data from surveys of UK and Australian frontline employment services staff conducted in 2008, 2012, and 2016, the paper examines the role of outcomes-based contracting in achieving enhanced personalization and service tailoring.
